Actix IVS 
The
Actix Infrastructure Verification
Solution (A–IVS) enables engineers to meet
the challenge of assessing end-to-end network performance, identifying
network elements with abnormal performance, and determining remedial
actions. A–IVS may be used in lab, field trial and operational
settings, to automate the process of quantifying network performance,
thereby mitigating the risk of performance problems during commercial
operation.Applications IVS is primarily focused on the following applications for cdma2000, GPRS and UMTS:• Subscriber-perceived performance verification. • Infrastructure performance troubleshooting. • Network element interoperability troubleshooting. • Infrastructure load testing. • Radio link performance troubleshooting. • User equipment performance verification.Features Tracing and visualization of message flows across network elements for circuit calls and packet data sessions. Analysis of timing differentials between interoperability messages, to generate load testing statistics.Support for all major radio and core network open interfaces for UMTS and GPRS networks. Support for a wide variety of test mobiles, protocol analyzers, and call trace programs for UMTS, GPRS and cdma2000–1X.Detail awareness of the subscriber experience through correlation of IP sniffer, RF and protocol data to visualize events occurring at each network interface during a data session. Examination of throughput statistics across various interfaces and protocol layers from the air–interface to the core network to detect causes of low throughput. Data collected from multiple points in the network can be correlated, irrespective of the collection device or vendor, to give a transparent view of network performance and behaviour.
